Just released today on YouTube.com, their number one single ‘I Can Finally Breathe’ music video is making waves in the music industry! The video features actor, Noel G (Training Day, Bruce Almighty, Fast N Furious), as the drug dealing gangster and best friend of the main star, 18-year old ‘Lil’ Battle Ax’ (Robert Ornelas Jr.). The story takes you through the life of Lil’ Battle Ax as he turns from a life gone bad. Produced by Checkmate Films and The S.O.G. Crew. Directed by Jared Lundy. THE S.O.G. CREW WORKS WITH LATINO 96.3 FM TO HELP DRUG AND ALCOHOL CENTERS

The S.O.G. Crew leaves a trail of good tidings! Last year, Latino 96.3’s deejay, Roq-C, invited The S.O.G. Crew to an event she was hosting at the Van Nuys Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center because it involved young teenagers in an urban inner city and because of their ministering capabilities. At the event, many visitors shared their stories with the group of how they came to be placed at the center. Their testimonies moved the group’s leader Battle Ax to share his own testimony and gave them a freestyle session. The Crew left them a gift to remember the visit by, CDs! Here’s what one of the counselors had to say about the event:

”I worked at Van Nuys Drug & Alcohol Treatment and you came over with Raq C and her radio station.
I was the Counselor that did the Drug Parapharnelia training, lol! You left enough CD’s for the kids we treated at the facility and still enough for the kids who were blessed and excited to have em’ at our church. First stop for The S.O.G. Crew was in Bakersfield, CA on October 1^st at the 3^rd Annual Cali Fest hosted by U-Turn Student Ministries. It was an awesome way to start the tour off celebrating with many friends! Filling the night with music was 12^th Tribe, Flaming Soldiers and others! Many, many people of all ages accepted Christ into their hearts for the first time! It was a very exciting moment to experience; as it is part of the reason why S.O.G. hits the streets to see lives changed and hearts healed. They will be sharing music from their new album ‘Where Legends Are Born’ with everyone from California to New Mexico, Colorado, Tennessee, Georgia, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Indiana, South Dakota and Oregon! In efforts to help good friends at Mi Gente one-stop-shop for cars, bikes and drivers; the Montano Family, The S.O.G. Crew held a private photo shoot at their property on 2495 Arlington Dr. in Colorado Springs, CO last Friday, August 27th, 2010. The photo shoot prompted drivers passing by to stop in and see what was going on, allowing for the awesome staff to work their skills in knowledge of car stuff, bike stuff and clothing for customers. L.A. SHERIFF’S DEPT WORKS WITH INTERNATIONAL GROUP THE S.O.G. CREW TO REACH COMMUNITIES

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has begun a special project to reach the communities using music to capture hearts and bridge gaps of any kind between them and the youth. This Saturday, August 7^th, 2010, the Sheriff’s Parks Bureau – South, has invited special task force The S.O.G. Crew from Anaheim, CA to come in and be a part of their ‘National Night Out – A Day in the Park’ event at Earvin Magic Johnson Park on El Segundo Blvd. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in the fun! There will be a community walk with the Sheriff’s and families beginning from Athens Park to Magic Johnson Park where refreshments will be served and a special concert by The S.O.G. Crew will shake the ground you walked! You don’t want to miss this day of fun in the sun! Walk begins at 10:00 am at Athens Park (12806 S. Broadway, Los Angeles)! But The S.O.G. Crew and all the Sheriffs will end up at Earvin Magic Johnson Park, 905 E. El Segundo Blvd, Los Angeles, for the concert! The event is free! It’s an honor to serve at the side of our local law enforcement for all their activities!
